Founded in 2006 this College of Education has been started to commemorate the life and teachings of sikh great master Shri Guru Harkrishan Ji. He dedicated his life for the amelioration of human suffering. He taught us that service to God was through service to mankind. The College is managed by Shri Guru Nanak Mission Educational Trust, Jagadhri, Students passing out from this institution of excellence will be shaping the coming generations through devotion, dedication in educating our society & inculcating human values. The College aims at providing equal opportunity to all. The College motto "Perseverance will Triumph" clearly indicates its goals and mission. This College offers "Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)" and "Diploma in Elementary (D.El.Ed)" with an annual intake of 200 and 50 students respectively. The College is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Jaipur and affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. In January, 2011 the College was accredited with Grade B, Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.63 by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore. In August, 2011 the College has been granted Minority Status by Deptt. of Higher Education, Haryana.

The beautiful campus with lush green lawns, spacious play ground, administrative block and triple storey building Academic Block is spread over 3 acres of land. It has good infrastructural and instructional facilities as per NCTE norms. The library is very spacious with more than 10000 books along with magazines, journals, newspapers in 3 languages and reference books. It is computerized with internet facility and fully automated. The College is awarded Grade "A" by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra while assessing it for Human Resources and Physical & Academic facilities.
